I-SAEF Hosts Eyal Rosner
Leader of Israel's "Alternative Fuels Initiative"
In April, 2013 I-SAEF hosted a luncheon at the office of I-SAEF supporter Gladys Monroy, Senior Partner at
Morrison Foerster, LLP. The Keynote Speaker was Eyal Rosner of the Israeli Prime Minister's Office,
the leader of Israel’s Alternative Fuels Initiative to reduce dependence on oil. In Eyal's words,
“I-SAEF has played a pioneering and essential role in supporting early alternative energy research
at Israeli universities, filling a critical niche that would otherwise go unattended.”

Eyal Rosner, Israeli Prime Minister's Office
Eyal Rosner is chairman and director of administration for the Alternative Fuels Initiative in the Israeli Prime Minister's Office. The program serves as a catalyst for reducing global dependency on crude oil by establishing Israel as a center of knowledge and industrial best practices in fuel alternatives. Rosner chairs the government's inter-departmental steering committee that determines the program's goals. He is head of the program's administration, responsible for developing and executing the program's strategy while coordinating nine participating government departments. Previously, Rosner was CEO of the Borovitz Mozes Group, a $3 billion privately held company. Prior to that, he was a vice president at Bankers Trust and an advisor to the Israeli government and the Israeli Space Agency. He served as captain in the Israeli Navy after graduating from the Israeli Naval Academy. He earned a bachelor's degree from Tel Aviv University.
